Two signings from the Manuel Pellegrini era, Fabian Delph and Wilfried Bony, could soon be heading out of the Etihad with reports that the duo are edging closer to permanent moves away.

Delph, who has struggled with injury problems since arriving from Aston Villa for £8million, and is in talks with Stoke City over a move. Sky Sports reports that Manchester City want around £13million for the England midfielder, with Stoke hoping to pay nearer to £10million. Either amount would represent a profit on a player who has made little impact in Manchester.

Meanwhile, Wilfried Bony could soon return to Swansea, the Mirror is reporting today. Like Delph, 28-year-old Bony was left off the pre-season tour to the US to find a new club, with Marseille also said to have a growing interest in the Ivorian.

Pep Guardiola is performing a massive overhaul of his squad this summer, with a number of players leaving to raise funds and make room for new arrivals. Pablo Zabaleta, Gaël Clichy, Bacary Sagna, Willy Caballero, Jesús Navas, Nolito and Joe Hart have already left, Aleksandar Kolarov and Kelechi Iheanacho are a step away from following, and the likes of Fernando, Eliaquim Mangala, Samir Nasri, Jason Denayer, and of course, Bony and Delph, could soon follow.
