PSG end interest in Arsenal’s Alexis Sanchez with only a move to Man City on his mind – report – City Watch

Paris Saint-Germain have ended their interest in signing Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez, journalist Nabil Djellit of French publication France Football reports this afternoon.

Djellit backs up what so many others before him have said, that the 28-year-old only wants a move to Manchester City – no one else. And he is willing to bide his time to hopefully find a solution with Arsenal, who have so far outright refused to enter negotiations with City over a sale.

It has been said that Arsenal would be more open to a sale abroad, but with Alexis either pricing out or turning down the likes of PSG and Bayern Munich, it is likely that he believes there is a way to see through his wish of reuniting with Pep Guardiola, who signed the Chilean during his time at Barcelona.

For City and Alexis both, the major obstacle remains convincing Arsenal to sanction the sale of their main man to a rival club. And so the wait goes on…
