Manchester City scouts present in Brazil tonight with eyes on dazzling Brazil U20 midfielder – City Watch
Manchester City’s scouting network stretches far and wide, and tonight representatives of the club have been attending matches in Brazil’s Série A.
According to journalist Dassler Marques of UOL Esporte, they first attended Vasco vs. Atlético GO in earlier before heading to watch Gremio vs. Corinthians.
Enviado do Manchester City ao Brasil acompanhou o Vasco in loco e está agora em Porto Alegre também. Vários jogadores interessantes para ver

Many interesting players were on show in both games (Jô featured for Corinthians but we reckon City will pass on that option!), but Douglas Luiz, a 19-year-old central midfielder at Vasco, is catching the eye of Man City talent-spotters.
Douglas Luiz is a Brazil under-20 international and in addition to City, is being monitored by AS Monaco, Borussia Dortmund and several Russian teams. He has a €40million release clause, but it is thought that an offer between €15million and €20million would be enough to tempt Vasco into a sale.
City have been watching the afro-sporting midfielder since this year’s South American Under-20 Championship in Ecuador as they look to recruit the best young talent from across the globe. If they are impressed by his skill set, he could soon join the growing band of Brazilians at Manchester City.
