Manchester City loan out England under-19 international to FC Twente – City Watch
Manchester City continue to send youngsters on loan to Holland’s Eredivisie with England under-19 international Isaac Buckley-Ricketts the latest to follow the path many others have taken.
The 18-year-old winger has moved to FC Twente on a season-long loan, continuing good relations between the clubs after Enes Ünal, Bersant Celina and Yaw Yeboah spent last season at the De Grolsch Veste, with Ünal in particular enjoying a break-out year.

Buckley-Ricketts is one of the many highly-rated talents from the City Football Academy and this will be his first experience outside of the youth system. He told FC Twente’s official website that he is happy to play for a club with such a “beautiful history”, and with fans able to create a great atmosphere.
“I know, of course, that Yaw, Bersant and Enes played here last season and it has been good for their development,” Isaac said. “I hope to develop further at FC Twente as a football player and person.”
Buckley-Ricketts will take the number 22 shirt at Twente and has already passed his medical.
