Manchester City confirm squad list to face Girona; Gündoğan and Mendy in, Walker out – City Watch

Manchester City have released a list of players who have traveled to Girona for a brief warm-weather training camp ahead of next Monday’s Premier League clash against Everton.

The Blues will face partner club Girona, where four City youngsters are on loan, in a friendly tomorrow (which will be streamed live on the official site at 5pm).

Conspicuous by his absence is Kyle Walker, who has requested permission to miss the trip for personal reasons. A more encouraging sign is the inclusion of Benjamin Mendy and İlkay Gündoğan, who could get their first minutes after injuries. Youngsters Patrick Roberts and Oleksandr Zinchenko, both of whom are being tipped to make moves soon, are also included.
