Tottenham vs. Manchester City: Starting Lineups & TV Information – City Watch
Manchester City visit Wembley Stadium tonight to face Tottenham in a match that will have a big say on where City are placed in the league after 10 weeks of games.
A win for Pep Guardiola’s team would put them back on top of the Premier League ahead of Liverpool on goal difference, a draw would move them up to second ahead of Chelsea on goal difference, but a defeat would see Tottenham overtake them with City dropping to 4th place. It’s close at the top.
Complicating things tonight is a Wembley pitch battered by recent NFL games held there, which may impact City’s passing game if it is as bad as it looked leading in.
Kevin Friend is the referee this evening with the following starting lineups chosen by Pep and his counterpart Mauricio Pochettino.
Tottenham XI: Lloris (c), Trippier, Alderweireld, Sanchez, Davies, Dier, Dembele, Sissoko, Lamela, Lucas, Kane
Manchester City XI: Ederson, Walker, Stones, Laporte, Mendy, Fernandinho, Silva (c), Bernardo, Mahrez, Sterling, Aguero
The match can be viewed on Sky Sports Premier League in the UK. A full list of TV coverage across the world can be found here.
