Pep Guardiola ranked best coach in the world ahead of Antonio Conte and Jose Mourinho – City Watch
Form is temporary, class is permanent. Pep Guardiola’s debut campaign at Manchester City hasn’t gone to plan, with zero trophies, a first in his glittering career as a coach. However, no manager enjoys a career without a bad season or two, and Guardiola’s talents continue to be recognised.
After surveying 33 reputable journalists, French newspaper L’Equipe has ranked the Manchester City manager as the world’s best coach, ahead of the likes of Antonio Conte, Carlo Ancelotti and Jose Mourinho.
City plan a major overhaul this summer so that Guardiola has a squad capable of responding to his demanding style of football, and will be hoping that the Catalan can bring some more trophies to the club next season.
For now, he continues to be viewed by many as the world’s best coach.
