Manchester City vs. Leicester City: Starting Lineups & TV Information – City Watch

City Watch

Five years ago today, Manchester City were responsible for the most epic moment in the history of the Premier League when Sergio Aguero struck his famous 93:20 winner against QPR to clinch the Premier League title.

Today’s clash with Leicester half a decade later has a lot less on the line, but City are still scrapping it out for a spot in next season’s Champions League and like last week against Crystal Palace, will look to make the most of late home fixtures.

Our recent record against Leicester hasn’t been good and Craig Shakespeare has lifted the reigning Premier League champions out of relegation fears and made them a good side again. Leicester put four past City earlier this season in one of Pep Guardiola’s worst moments in charge of City so far. He’ll want to avoid a repeat today.

Bobby Madley is today’s referee and here are the starting line-ups selected by the two bosses:

Manchester City XI: Caballero, Fernandinho, Kompany (c), Otamendi, Clichy, Yaya Toure, De Bruyne, Silva, Sterling, Sane, Gabriel Jesus

Leicester City XI: Schmeichel (c), Simpson, Benalouane, Fuchs, Chilwell, Mahrez, Ndidi, King, Albrighton, Okazaki, Vardy

Today’s match can be viewed on Sky Sports 1 in the UK. A full list of TV coverage from around the world can be found here.
