Manchester City attacker on verge of €6m-€8m move, terms being finalised – City Watch
Nolito’s arrival in Sevilla is getting closer, with Marca today reporting conditions and figures involved in the transaction between the Spanish club and Manchester City.
It is almost certain that the 30-year-old winger will head to Nervión on loan with a view to a permanent move next year, but it isn’t decided yet whether that will be an option or obligation to buy, which seems to be the main thing left to decide.
The purchase option would set Sevilla back between £5.3 million (€6 million) and £7 million (€8 million), meaning Man City will again lose money on a player who was considered quite a bargain when the Blues activated his £13.8 million release clause and signed him from Celta Vigo a year ago.
Speaking to El Confidencial, Sevilla president José Castro said Nolito “is very close, we have advanced in our efforts with him and his club.”
After one season, 30 appearances and 6 goals, Nolito’s unhappy stay in Manchester is almost over.
