Kevin De Bruyne up against Real Madrid duo for Champions League Midfielder of the Season – City Watch
Kevin De Bruyne has been named on the three-man list of nominees for the 2017/18 UEFA Champions League Midfielder of the Season.
The 27-year-old, who was outstanding in all competitions for Manchester City last season, is up against Real Madrid pair Luka Modric and Toni Kroos for the prize, which will be announced on 30 August at the Champions League draw.
De Bruyne made six appearances in City’s run to the Champions League quarter-finals last season, scoring once and assisting one goal.
