Celtic fans a ‘major factor’ in Patrick Roberts’ decision on wanting a return to Glasgow – City Watch
Patrick Roberts will today inform Manchester City that he would like another spell at Celtic after a trophy-laden 18 months there.
City are not thought to be too keen on sending the 20-year-old back on loan to the same team, especially with Premier League, Bundesliga and Ligue 1 clubs showing interest, so it remains to be seen if he will get his move back to ‘Paradise’.
But if he does, the Celtic fans will take a big share of the credit, as according to BBC Radio Scotland presenter Kenny Macintyre, it is their messages that have played a major role in Patrick’s wish to return to Celtic Park.
