It’s time to do it all over again! Manchester City begin their second season with the great Pep Guardiola in charge today with a visit to the south coast, where they face newly-promoted Brighton.
The Blues have been impressive in pre-season but history has taught us that friendlies mean nothing once the real football starts, and that is today, with Pep’s fresher and younger squad up against a side that should be highly motivated having arrived in the Premier League.
