Villarreal have had a €14 million (£12.2 million) bid for Manchester City striker Enes Ünal accepted.

This likely deal was first reported by Estadio Deportivo on Saturday and talks have progressed since then, with Ünal poised to sign a four-year deal at the La Liga side.

Manchester City will include a buy-back clause which will allow them to sign the talented forward back for €20 million (£17.5 million) in the coming years. The sale will mean City have made an €11 million profit on a player with zero first-team appearances, having signed him from Bursaspor for €3 million.

The 20-year-old scored 19 goals in all competitions this season, all but one of them in the Eredivisie, and has attracting interest from all over Europe.

In recent minutes, Unal has landed at Manises Airport to undergo the formalities before joining Villarreal.
