Manchester City winger Thomas Agyepong is in line for an international debut having been called up by new Ghana coach James Kwesi Appiah for upcoming games against Ethiopia, Mexico and the USA.

Agyepong joined Man City from the Right to Dream Academy in his homeland in 2015 and has spent the season at NAC Breda in the Dutch second division along with several other young Blues. He had previously had a spell on loan at FC Twente in the 2014-15 season.

The 20-year-old is joined by another City-owned player, Yaw Yeboah, who has formed an attacking trio with fellow City loanees Enes Ünal and Bersant Celina at FC Twente this season. Yeboah, also 20, is another who arrived from the Right to Dream Academy and made 26 appearances for Twente in the Eredivisie this season.

The Black Cats take on Ethiopia in the 2019 AFCON qualifiers on June 11 and then have friendlies against Mexico and the USA on June 28 and July 1 respectively.
