Swansea City are closing in on the signing of Kosovo international Bersant Celina from Manchester City in a deal that could net the Blues around £4million, the Manchester Evening News and Daily Mail report.

The midfielder has been tipped to go far in the game and spent last season on loan at Ipswich Town in the Championship, scoring 7 goals in 32 league appearances.

With City well stocked in his preferred roles, and Riyad Mahrez arriving to make the competition even fiercer, 21-year-old Celina looks set to follow a host of young talents out of the club this summer by joining relegated Swansea.

The two clubs are negotiating a deal that will be worth between £3million and £4million, and as is the standard now with the more talented prospects, City are expected to include both buy-back and sell-on clauses.

The Blues sold Pablo Maffeo to VfB Stuttgart for €10million earlier this summer and it has since come to light that they have a future option to buy him back for €20million, while also having a 25% sell-on clause for the Spain under-21 right-back.
