Yesterday a host of different sources, including le10sport, L’Equipe, Le Parisien and Duncan Castles of the Daily Record reported the big news that Paris Saint-Germain had successfully hijacked Manchester City’s deal to sign free agent Dani Alves.
While this news still hasn’t been confirmed or denied, some photographs have appeared that could offer hope to those fearing he is lost to the bright lights of Paris.
Pictures have surfaced of Alves getting married to Joana Sanz at a secret wedding in Ibiza yesterday… yes, on the same day it was widely reported that he was in talks to join PSG.

Sam Lee of Goal also reports that Dani met with Pep Guardiola in Barcelona on Friday. So unless he negotiated with PSG (or his agent did) while he was getting married, then something doesn’t add up about these rumours.
Martin Blackburn of The Sun, one of the most well-regarded sources for City news, has revealed that the club have heard nothing from the player or his representative about this.
#mcfc have had no indication from player or agent that alves thinking of going elsewhere.

Neither club has commented yet on what exactly is happening here, but unless Dani Alves decided to do some multitasking on his wedding day, his move to Man City may not be dead after all…
