Manchester City will take on FC Basel in the last 16 of the Champions League.

The exact date of the match will be announced shortly, with the first leg (City away) scheduled for 13–14 February and 20–21 February, and the second leg (City home) for 6–7 March and 13–14 March.

On paper, City have been given the easiest draw possible, although must respect their Swiss opposition, who beat both Manchester United and Benfica in Group A.

Basel’s form in the group stage was 4 wins and 2 defeats, with the following results:

City will visit St. Jakob-Park (capacity: 38,512) in northwest Switzerland for the first time when they face Basel.
