Manchester City enter race to sign Ghana’s hottest talent

Manchester City are the latest team to put an official bid in for ‘hugely-talented’ Ghanaian forward, Gideon Offei according to sources from Ghana Soccernet. City are said to be keen to snap up the young striker who is considered the brightest talent in the Ghanaian second division.

The 18 year old is also said to be attracting the likes of Real Madrid and Bayern Munich for his services with glowing scouting reports of the forward. Offei has registered 10 goals and 7 assists in 19 appearances for his club – Vision FC – this season.

Were City to tie the youngster down to a contract this summer, the likelihood is that he will be sent on loan for the season with recently promoted Spanish affiliate club Girona FC looking the most promising destination.
