According to Oh My Goal, the French international arrived at Lyon’s training center on Tuesday morning to discuss a potential move to the Parc Olympique Lyonnais.

The report claims that Mangala would join the Ligue 1 side on loan, which would mean City have been unable to find a buyer, despite Mangala’s impressive season on loan at Valencia in Spain.

Very few details are known and the source of this information is a relatively unknown site, but we’ll keep you updated on any developments.

15:00 UPDATE: Le Progrès have confirmed Mangala’s presence in Lyon, but it is still not confirmed if he is there on football business or pleasure.
