Manchester City academy chief Mark Allen leaves club for Rangers – City Watch

Manchester City have lost academy director Mark Allen to Scottish Premiership side Rangers, according to Daily Telegraph journalist Matt Law on Twitter.

Allen has overseen the incredible progress and improvement at the City Football Academy, which has seen the club acquire elite talent both domestically and from abroad, and win trophies at almost every age group in recent years.

No official confirmation or details have been released yet about the reason behind his decision to swap Manchester for Glasgow, but his great work in the youth ranks of Man City will surely be missed.
