Mahrez, Sané, Mendy, Bernardo, Hart and the kids: Man City’s travelling squad list for pre-season tour – City Watch
Manchester City have released a list of names travelling to the United States for the pre-season tour that will include glamour friendlies against Borussia Dortmund, Liverpool and Bayern Munich.
It is a squad heavy on youth, with so many senior stars on holidays following the World Cup, but the likes of Riyad Mahrez, Leroy Sané, Aymeric Laporte and Claudio Bravo are included. Despite strong rumours that he could leave for Wolves or Fulham in a £16million-plus deal, Oleksandr Zinchenko also flies with the team.
As suggested earlier today, Benjamin Mendy and Bernardo Silva are also listed, although will join up later in the tour and after the first game.
Fringe players such as Jack Harrison, Jason Denayer, Patrick Roberts and Douglas Luiz will have a chance to impress Pep Guardiola, while Phil Foden is involved after not being named in the England squad for the upcoming 2018 UEFA European U-19 Championship.
