Has Pablo Zabaleta dropped a hint about his Manchester City future on Twitter? – City Watch

Pablo Zabaleta’s future at Manchester City is massively in doubt due to his contract expiration date and he has been reportedly in talks with Premier League side West Ham United.

By all accounts, Zabaleta, along with fellow full-backs Bacary Sagna and Gaël Clichy, have not been offered new deals as it stands and with the huge number of full-backs being linked with a move to the Etihad, changes seem inevitable. Still, it remains to be seen if Pep Guardiola wants such a radical overhaul that he will let both veteran right-backs go, or keep one for now and bring in a fresher face.

The player has been a hero at the club during his 9 year stay and nobody really wants to see him leave, so much so that one fan wrote him a poem. In the poem are the words “we’ll miss you” – Zabaleta quoted the poem and described it as “beautiful and emotional”:

Simply beautiful and emotional. 😘 MIC8fczIFr

We may be looking into it a bit too much, in fact, we probably are, but it’s impossible to decide which part of the poem he deems emotional.
