Manchester City youngsters Aro Muric and Aminu Mohammed are heading to NAC Breda in the Netherlands for pre-season, City Watch understands.

6’5″ goalkeeper Muric, 19, is very highly regarded at the Etihad Stadium and has been involved with Pep Guardiola’s first team, although has yet to make his senior debut for the club.

Aminu Mohammed is an exciting 17-year-old attacker from Ghana, who City reportedly beat Real Madrid and Bayern Munich to sign last year. He has already spent time in Breda, having trained with NAC last December.

The two are scheduled to join pre-season training at NAC, although we cannot confirm yet if they will sign loan deals. City have sent several players over to train in the past, such as Billy O’Brien and George Glendon, who eventually were not signed.

Given Muric’s level of potential, it is likely that NAC would look to loan him for the season, with Nigel Bertrams not the most convincing of options and Aussie goalkeeper Mark Birighitti likely to leave Rat Verlegh Stadion.

Another City youngster, Luka Ilić, is poised to sign for the Eredivisie club, but they have yet to announce him. Spanish prospect Paolo Fernandes is also likely to return for a second loan spell.
