Dani Alves and his wife arrive in Paris amid unconfirmed reports he has chosen PSG – City Watch
Dani Alves and his new wife Joana Sanz have arrived in Paris, fueling speculation that the Brazilian has snubbed Manchester City to join Ligue 1 giants PSG.
Joana has posted an Instagram story from Paris, confirmed by jets above taking part in a rehearsal for Bastille Day.

To make matters worse for those hoping he is still City-bound, Paris United, a very well-respected PSG fan source with a great track record claims that a press conference is already planned with Alves and the Parisiens’ other new signing, Yuri Berchiche.

Meanwhile, odds on the 34-year-old moving to PSG have tumbled this afternoon at Sky Bet after City have previously been the favourites.
From France, le10sport, who reported on PSG’s hijack attempt before anyone else, state that nothing is done yet but that PSG are cautiously optimistic that they have convinced Alves to join them.

Unfortunately, most of the evidence is pointing to City being left red-faced by a classic transfer hijack here though – however, it is important to note that no mainstream source has published a concrete report that he has chosen PSG yet. Another thing worth considering is it’s well documented that Joana Sanz has a modeling contract in Paris, so this could be a business-related stop.
Should City miss out on Alves, it will increase their urgency to land Kyle Walker from Tottenham in a deal that is proving difficult to close because of Daniel Levy’s £50million asking price. The Blues will soon board a flight to the US and the only natural right-back available may be young Spaniard, Pablo Maffeo, who has been expected to rejoin Girona on loan next season.
