The first batch of fixture changes for Manchester City’s Premier League title defence have been announced today, with the opening weekend clash at Arsenal being shifted to the Sunday afternoon.

The champions of England will again play on Sunday a week later when they host Huddersfield in the first home game of the season.

A trip to Wolves follows late in August with a lunch-time kick-off, before the Blues host Newcastle in late afternoon on the first day of September.

Fixture changes:

Arsenal vs. Manchester City – Sunday, 12 August (16:00)

Manchester City vs. Huddersfield Town – Sunday, 19 August (13:30)

Wolves vs. Manchester City – Saturday, 25 August (12:30)

Manchester City vs. Newcastle – Saturday, 1 September (17:30)
