SFR Sport: Benjamin Mendy is on a private jet from Marseille to Manchester (Mendy responds!) – City Watch
French news source SFR Sport has claimed that Benjamin Mendy is flying from France to Manchester after the player posted a shot of himself on a private jet earlier.
Claiming to have information from Mendy’s entourage, SFR say he and his party flew from Marseille in the direction of England on Sunday afternoon, after the 22-year-old had spent Saturday evening there. Mendy had traveled to Marseille, home of his former club, from his home in Monegasque.

And now the French left-back is on the verge of becoming the second AS Monaco player to join Manchester City in a matter of days after Bernardo Silva.
17:00 UPDATE: Benjamin Mendy has taken to Twitter to tell SFR Sport that he is in Paris, not Manchester (yet at least). He said ‘calm down’ to the news outlet which had claimed he was en route to England.
