Sergio Aguero, David Silva, Vincent Kompany and others return to Manchester City training – City Watch
Manchester City welcomed back a whole host of their superstar names today as pre-season training resumed in Manchester following a tour of the United States.
Joining those who toured the States were Sergio Aguero, Gabriel Jesus, David Silva, Fernandinho, Nicolas Otamendi, Ilkay Gundogan, John Stones, Fabian Delph, Ederson and Vincent Kompany.
Kevin De Bruyne was absent from the video posted by the club, most likely being given a little bit of extra time to rest after the World Cup, but the squad is now starting to look strong again ahead of the new season.
Riyad Mahrez was absent after suffering a knock to his ankle against Bayern Munich, but the good news, as revealed earlier today, is that the Algerian will be back in training later this week with his injury much less severe than many feared.
The Shark Team face Chelsea this weekend in the annual Community Shield and with days to prepare, you can expect a number of the returning players to feature at Wembley.
