Dilrosun, 19, will join Hertha on a free transfer as of July 1, although City can expect around £200,000 in training compensation.

Hertha general manager Michael Preetz commented on Dilrosun’s arrival on Thursday morning.

“We have been looking at him for a long time and have been following the development of Javairo intensely,” Preetz said.

“He’s had great technical and tactical training at both Ajax and Manchester City, he’s fast and skillful, and we’re very happy to have convinced him to join Hertha BSC despite well-known competition.”

Dilrosun joined City from Ajax in 2014, but with so many talented wingers ahead of him in Pep Guardiola’s first-team plans decided to try a new adventure away from Manchester.
