Benjamin Mendy posts cryptic image on a plane – is he Manchester City bound? – City Watch
Monaco left-back Benjamin Mendy is wanted by Manchester City and the word from France is that a deal could be close – with neighbours Manchester United possibly providing the only threat at this stage.
And the 23-year-old has done nothing to squash rumours by posting an image of himself on his Instagram, flying on what appears to be a private jet.
This could be Mendy on his way to international duty with France having an upcoming friendly against Paraguay at the beginning of June, or perhaps he is en route to Manchester amid rumours that another major signing could be announced soon.
Either way, this image is enough to get Blues excited. There’s nothing quite like the transfer window, is there?
