Toro News: Torino reject second bid of £15m from Manchester City for right-back

Several days ago, reputable Torino fan page Toro News reported that after failing with a £12.4 million bid to sign right-back Bruno Peres, Manchester City had returned with an improved offer of £15 million.

City’s second offer has met the same outcome as the first, with Torino saying ‘no’ and believing the amount offered is inadequate for the 26-year-old.

Torino chairman Urbano Cairo hasn’t budged on his valuation of Peres, which stands at around £17 million (€20 million). This is what they would consider a ‘really important offer’ and should City decide to improve their offer again, may be enough to prise the speedy Brazilian away from Turin. Now the question is if City will go back with a third bid or move on to alternatives.
