Manchester City have been strongly linked with a move for Arsenal forward Alexis Sánchez in recent days and Pep Guardiola dropped a major hint that those discussions aren’t just rumours in his press conference today.

When asked abouth the subject, Pep Guardiola simply responded with ‘now is not the time to talk about that, we have a lot of business to do’, and offered no denial that Manchester City were in talks for Sánchez.

Sánchez is out of contract at Arsenal in 2018, meaning that Arsenal risk losing him on a free transfer if they don’t decide to sell this summer, and the forward doesn’t look like he’ll be signing a contract any time soon.

Reports suggested that his preference is to join Manchester City and Pep Guardiola in the summer, despite links with both Chelsea and PSG in recent months.
