Manchester City are preparing a €13 million (£11.4 million) bid for Napoli left-back, Faouzi Ghoulam, according to an exclusive report by Italian news portal TMW.

This information comes days after fresh reports surfaced that City were involved in a three-way tussle for the Algerian international with PSG and Bayern Munich.

Ghoulam is out of contract in 2018 and Napoli must sell him if they fail to convince him to stay, with recent reports suggesting that the 26-year-old has decided to quit the Stadio San Paolo.

Should City land Ghoulam for the €13 million fee mentioned, it would be quite a coup for a consistent performer who has 7 assists across Serie A and the Champions League for Napoli this season.

The full-back positions are expected to see major changes this summer, with Gaël Clichy, Bacary Sagna and Pablo Zabaleta all out of contract, and Aleksandar Kolarov more effective as a left-sided centre-back these days.
