Manchester City midfielder set for Ipswich move after rejecting Bolton and Leeds

After a productive year on loan at FC Twente in the Eredivisie, Manchester City starlet Bersant Celina is ready to test himself in the rough and tumble of England’s Championship next season as he closes in on a move to Ipswich Town.

Only three days ago Bersant Celina confirmed that he would be moving to the Championship after a 5-0 defeat against Norway U21. When asked by interviewers about interest from Bolton Wanderers, Ipswich Town and Leeds United, Celina responded: “It will be one of those clubs.”

According to Sky sources, Celina has now agreed to join Ipswich Town on a season long loan and will become Mick McCarthy’s first signing of the summer when he joins later today.

It is expected that the move will be completed today, with Celina set to join up with his new teammates for pre-season at the end of June.
