He arrived as something of a mystery in January. Blues were excited but most didn’t know quite what to expect from the teenage Brazilian sensation, Gabriel Jesus.

Then, in almost record time, he showed us what he is capable of and excited Manchester City fans worldwide with his collection of skills, not forgetting his goals and assists!

A setback followed as he suffered a serious injury in February, but since returning has already found his mojo with a goal and assist in City’s last two games.

So how does our Seleção star look on a purely statistical level? The answer is very good.

– In just 7 Premier League appearances, 2 of them starts, Gabriel Jesus has scored 4 goals and registered 2 assists. That is a contribution to a goal every 64 minutes!

– Gabriel Jesus has completed 85.1% of his passes, showing that beyond the skills and flair, he is technically excellent – just how Pep likes ’em!

– Our Brazilian wonderkid has received 2 yellow cards in his 381 minutes on the pitch in the Premier League, showing a feisty side.

– Gabriel Jesus averages 2.3 shots per game, fewer than only Sergio Agüero and Kevin De Bruyne.
