Manchester City cruised past Crystal Palace in a 5-0 win this afternoon in what could easily could be the Blues strongest performance of the season. All of City’s starting eleven played their part but there were a few standout performances from the usual suspects.
David Silva was again sublime to watch as he provided more evidence as to why he is City’s greatest ever player. An unusual sight for City fans this season was an immensely solid centre-back partnership of Kompany and Otamendi with both managing to get on the scoresheet in a dominant display at the back.
All three players were talking points for City fans on Twitter as they shared their thoughts on the game.
