City Summary – November 17: Sané and Pep win monthly awards, pre-Leicester injury updates, Griezmann linked

It’s time to catch up on today’s news – here’s your City Summary:

A day of recognition for Manchester City’s excellence in October. At the age of 21, Leroy Sané won his first Premier League Player of the Month award.

Leroy was also awarded a special FIFA Award Winner card for his achievement. Here’s our custom designed, created by our talented designer Shaun Campbell.

And for the second time in two months, and third in total, Pep Guardiola was named the Premier League’s Manager of the Month for October.

Sergio Aguero is fit for tomorrow, as confirmed by the man himself on Thursday. But what about the others? Raheem is back, Delph is a doubt but has a fighting chance, and surprisingly Vincent Kompany could make his long awaited return to action.

Pep Guardiola is known as a perfectionist, but in his own words, perfection is impossible. However, he does his best to try and get as close as possible.

The City boss is a big fan of young Phil Foden and elaborated on his immediate plans for the 17-year-old in his pre-match presser.

As the cool kids say, Kyle Walker has an elite mentality with remarks like this.

Could Leicester attack City tomorrow? It worked last year, and despite a new man being in charge, Claude Puel believes with the backing of the King Power Stadium, Leicester could upset the Shark Team.

City and United could face competition from a recent on-field foe for the signing of Aarón Martín in January, with Napoli looking at him.

Finally, could Antoine Griezmann be on City’s radar? Reports from Barcelona suggest Blues bosses have had some talks with his entourage.

That’s all for today’s City Summary. Make sure you keep your eyes peeled on @City_Watch and the site, day and night, as we work to deliver the latest City news, views, and other high-quality content.
